El objetivo del presente proyecto es realizar el estudio de factibilidad técnica y económica de la instalación de una planta de producción de goma brea, producto forestal no maderable que no ha tenido hasta el momento un desarrollo productivo que permita su incorporación en las economías regionales de la zona noroeste de nuestro país donde la especie de la cual se extrae crece en forma natural. La goma brea presenta propiedades fisicoquímicas y funcionales similares a la goma arábiga, lo que permite su reemplazo en la industria alimenticia y de bebidas, adhesivos, envases y farmacéutica. Uno de los beneficios más destacable de este producto es su posibilidad de ser extraídos preservando la integridad de los recursos naturales de donde se obtiene. |
